Antique oil painting from an estate sale in Naperville Illnois Clockmakers collection of fantastic art, clocks and original antiques.
The painting has been framed in a lovely gold wood frame that does the painting justice, has metal plackard with JOhn Charlton R.A. (Royal Academy)
The painting is called Gamblers in Low Life it is written on the back of the board in pencil and is signed painted by John Charlton. It is old late 1800's early 1900's
I am painting it as you see it framed with name plate, see photos and please ask any questions.
Im guessing its oil on board. really cute and in wonderful condition, a few spots flecked with wear. The back is off to expose the pencil marking on the back. Overall good!
