Yes you read that right! When St. Clare got too sick to attend mass one day the images and sounds of the church appeared in full on the wall of her room.Pope Pius the XII in 1957 named her the patroness of this new invention...the television which can be theo source of great wealth but also of deep trouble. St. Clare was steeped in humility poverty and the love of God.
She was also patron Saint of sore eyes and embroidery.
